The Maamawibiway project for Peguis Child and Family Services includes civil infrastructure and site development serving the TIL housing area, maintenance compound and A-frame village.
The scope includes sewer and water line installation, electrical conduits, power ducts and data cables. Utility work is coordinated with excavation, trench backfilling and compaction testing, with inspections scheduled before services are covered.
Site development includes grading, drainage ditches and culverts, concrete pads, roadways and pathways. Additional work includes street lighting, relocation of storage containers within the maintenance compound and placement of the A-frame buildings.
Spring work includes hardscaping and planting, along with topsoil, sod and seed. The A-frame village landscaping incorporates boulder seating and campfire pits, while the TIL housing area includes wood decks, stairs, handrails and privacy fencing.
The September 2026 schedule sets out construction from late August 2026, with fall servicing and site work followed by spring landscaping scheduled for completion in June 2027.
